What times are the classes?
Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 pm. Please see the class timetable for more information.
Where are the classes?
We dance in Molly Blackburn Hall on the UCT Upper Campus. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and the WhatsApp announcement group for any venue changes
How much does it all cost?
UCT students – R650 annual membership fee for 2022
Non-UCT students – R650 annual membership fee for 2022
Non-Students – R650 annual membership fee for 2022
Your annual subscription fee covers all of the Tuesday and Thursday dancing lessons that you are eligible to attend for the entire year as well as multiple socials throughout the year.
Who can join?
As a student organisation we gladly accept anyone currently studying at a tertiary education institute into our society. Due to this, we are unable to accommodate any members over the age of 30 in the beginner classes.
Why should I join?
For a million reasons! (These are just a few of them)
It’s cheap (you can pay over R200 an hour at a studio!)
You learn a very useful life skill that you can use forever
You meet new people and make lasting friendships
Also… it’s lots of fun!
What do I need?
You don’t need a partner – there are lots of people and it’s important to swap partners
You don’t need special shoes – anything comfortable that you can move in is fine
You don’t need any rhythm or moves – because you’ll pick them up along the way
